Application Instructions
Stethorus punctillum is a slow-developing species that can be difficult to control in greenhouses where light and temperature conditions are low. Adults, which can fly, can escape from the greenhouse, which is why mosquito nets should always be used as a preventive measure. After 4-5 weeks of introduction, new adults appear; two months later, all life stages, from egg to adult, are present in the culture.

Storage Instructions
For better efficacy, it is recommended to use the product upon receipt. However, it is possible to store them for a few days at temperatures of 10 to 16°C.
Description
Stethorus punctillum are tiny hairy beetles. The particularity of this ladybug is to individually lay their eggs on the underside of leaves infested by spider mites. Females can lay up to 13 eggs per day. Adults, with the ability to feed on all stages of spider mites (eggs, larvae, nymphs, and adults), are thus powerful predators for these pest mites in several crops (peppers, cannabis, cucumbers, etc.).
Stethorus punctillum ladybugs do not attack other predatory mites. This is good news for the establishment of an integrated pest management program including this ally. They also have the advantage of tolerating highly variable humidity conditions ranging from 30% to 90%, which facilitates their use for a wider range of crops with different humidity needs.
