Application Instructions
BioCeres® WP is used in prevention or as soon as harmful insects appear. This product can be applied with conventional pressure spray equipment. It is essential to pre-mix before adding the product to the tank.
Mixing Instructions
Weigh 2 to 4 g of BioCeres® WP per liter of water according to the desired volume;
Incorporate the powder in a waterproof (airtight) container and add 1 to 2 L of water;
Shake vigorously for 30-45 seconds until the solution is homogeneous;
Add the premix to your tank previously filled with the volume of lukewarm water necessary to properly cover the crop to be treated;
Use a volume of mixture sufficient to cover all of the foliage.
IMPORTANT
Never mix with hot water!
Never premix in a bucket or bucket with just a stick or a whisk.
This technique brings too much air into the water and does not mix well.
Application Guidelines
Apply BioCeres® WP when the ambient humidity is above 60% and the actual temperature is between 18 and 29º.
Spray in the evening to reduce the risk of spore degradation by UV rays.
To control whiteflies and aphids, spray under the leaves where the insects are prevalent.
Storage Instructions
Can be store for over 18 months at 4°C and 6 months at 20-25°C.
Description
BioCeres® WP is a certified organic insecticide using the strain ANT-O3 of Beauveria bassiana, an entomopathogenic fungus which is naturally present in the Canadian soil. This bio-insecticide sticks to insects’ cuticle (outer shell), causing infection that results in death. The repressive effect is generally noticed after 7 days and pests will not develop any resistance to the fungus.
Compatible with some insecticides, fungicides and with most biological control agents, BioCeres® WP is an effective and biological answer to tomato, cucumber, potato, cannabis, herbs and spices and greenhouse ornamentals’ issues with whiteflies, aphids & thrips.
