Application Instructions

Gently shake the contents to homogenize the mixture, then sprinkle the S. scimitus and their substrate directly into the soil (the medium for your plants), targeting areas where infestation hotspots are visible. S. scimitus can be introduced preventively or as soon as soil pests appear.

To successfully introduce Stratiolaelaps scimitus, ensure the soil is adequately moist before introduction, but do not flood it. The ideal temperature ranges from 20 to 30 °C, ideally around 25 °C, to promote their reproduction and activity. Avoid temperatures below 15 °C and above 30 °C.

The introduction rates of Stratiolaelaps scimitus vary from 100 to 500 individuals per square meter, depending on the level of infestation and the specific needs of the crop.
